A premium performance, clear water repellent designed to protect wood against water damage and mildew while providing effective UV protection. RainCoat clear formula incorporates UV blocking pigment that retains its color longer than many oil-based transparent finishes, maximizing protection against UV graying. It is fortified with a mildewcide that resists ugly mildew growth on the coating film. And, its powerful water-repellent system works longer than typical sealers to prevent water penetration, thereby minimizing wood cracking and checking, and preventing major damage such as splitting and warping. RainCoat dries to a matte finish. Though enhanced with penetrating tung and linseed oils to promote adhesion, the water-based formula is easy-to-use, dries fast, and cleans up quickly with water. RainCoat will prevent water damage for 3 years. Apply with brush or pump sprayer. Covers approximately 250 Sq. Ft. per gallon on smooth wood.
